Safe DIY Holiday Scents You Can Live With

According to Andrea, founder of It Takes Time, even the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has acknowledged the health risks associated with the fragrance industry and has forbidden all scented and fragrance products in their offices since 2009.

Pure essential oils, on the other hand, can actually help reduce stress, add a pep to your step and help cement fond memories without the headache!

Gingerbread House Essential Oil Diffuser Recipe


30 drops cinnamon bark essential oil
25 drops organic vanilla extract
20 drops ginger essential oil
10 drops clove essential oil
10 drops nutmeg essential oil


Add all ingredients to a small glass bottle, screw on the cap and gently combine the oils by swirling the bottle (essential oils like to be stirred, not shaken!). Then fill your essential oil diffuser reservoir with water, add 5-6 drops of your yummy essential oil blend and enjoy the wonderful smells of the season!
